Mount Damavand is a 5671 m high mountain in the north of Iran. Also known as Donbavand, it is a dormant volcano and holds a special place in Persian mythology and folklore, this mountain is the highest peak in Iran and the largest volcanic mountain in Asia.
Arrive at IK Airport morning, transfer to the hotel, and leave stuff at the hotel (check-in after 14:00 pm). Go to sightseeing Tehran. O/N at the hotel with breakfast.
Trekking to Shirpala hut (2700 m), O/N at hut full board.
Climbing to Tochal summit (3960 m), descend to Tehran, and transport to Damavand hostel at the Rineh village. O/N at the hostel with breakfast and dinner.
Start trekking to Damavand hut from the south route to Bargahe Sevom Shelter 4250 m. O/N at the tent with full board.
Acclimatization/ bad weather reservation day.O/N at the tent with full board.
Summit day back to the camp, few rests, eating soup, coffee and tea, then descend to the hostel in the village (for better rest, hot shower, free wifi). O/N at the hostel with full board.
Pack stuff, visit Hot Spring and transfer to Tehran. O/N at hotel with breakfast.
Free day in Tehran by yourself. Transfer to the airport depending on your flight time.
